Our Madonna Inn, Morro Bay and Solvang overnight tour begins as we travel southeast to San Luis Obispo to the Apple Farm. Enjoy a tasty lunch and a tour through the millhouse with a delicious snack afterwards. Then, continue on to Morro Bay to board Chablis Cruises for a unique experience aboard the 50 foot, two story riverboat that graces the gentle waters of beautiful Morro Bay Harbor. The plushy decorated interior with its panoramic windows and rooftop deck will take us on a relaxing cruise on the bay around Morro Rock. Return to San Luis Obispo for an overnight stay at the famous Madonna Inn with its uniquely designed theme rooms. The evening is free for you to have dinner on your own. 2 • Thu: Solvang
Today we will travel to the Danish community of Solvang to enjoy its Danish architecture, windmills, gaslights and cobblestone walks. Perched on many roofs are artificial nesting storks, considered by the Danes to be good luck charms. Enjoy free time to shop and explore and a delicious lunch before departing for home. (L)
